OverviewI began diving in the summer of 1987, and logged many beach and boat dives before completing my Advanced Open Water certification in the summer of 1991. I continued my diving education and completed the Divemaster program in the fall of 1991. The next three summers I worked as a mate on the Dive Charter Boat Northern Star out of Captree State Park, Long Island, New York. I gained valuable experience with Students and Divers while working on the Northern Star, and completed the Open Water Instructor program in March 1993. I completed many wreck dives off the south shore of Long Island, New York till moving to Florida in the summer of 1994.
